Active ingredients research director
Agronomy and Food Industry graduate, Sandrine MILESI is an Engineer and holds a PhD in natural active ingredients. For 20 years, Sandrine has been working in plant secondary metabolites research (INRA, University) and then in natural active ingredients development (botanical, yeast, marine) for Cosmetics and Food sectors (YVES ROCHER R&D, CLARINS Group). With industrial and financial shareholders, she founded PURIFUNCTION and built an R&D center specialized in extraction, purification and characterization of natural ingredients and associated (eco) processes. She was Scientific Director of this young company that carried out R&D projects for industrial partners. In 2014, she joined the R&D department of CLARINS Group. She became Director of Active Ingredients Research Department and manages four teams: -Active ingredients development, -Phytochemistry, -Sustainable R&D Programs, Supply Chains & Plants and -Patents.
