UNIVERSITE DE REIMS CHAMPAGNE ARDENNE
I am an associate professor at the University of Reims Champagne Ardennes (URCA) in France, and carry out my research in the Innovative Materials and Processes (MAPI) team within the Institute of Thermics, Mechanics and Materials (ITheMM). Having a process and chemical engineering background, I have specialized since my PhD in the field of the implementation of polymers: from the development of new plastic materials to the study of their recyclability. Quite quickly, I became aware of the potential of plant co-products to replace fossil but also biosourced plastic. It was then that I focused my research on the recovery of co-products and agricultural waste (more specifically lignocellulosic biomass) with the aim of developing innovative materials, whether in the field of packaging, construction, automotive or urban furniture.
