Born and raised in the South of France in 1959, trained as a biochemist at Nice University, France 1978-1982. Ten years of biochemical research activities, with a PhD on the nutritional valorization of amino acids in 1985 at CNRS/University Aix-Marseilles, a post-doctoral work on snake venom toxins at Biotechnology Laboratory of Butantan Institute, Brazil and a six-years research at Orsan-Ajinomoto joint venture research laboratory in France on new amino acids. Thirty years of business activities with the Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition under different functions of business development, regulatory affairs and amino acid bioindustry corporation management, in Latin America (based in Sao Paulo, Brazil 1997-07 and Mexico), USA (CEO, Chicago-based 2007-14), and Paris, France, 2014-21. Corporate executive officer of Ajinomoto Co.Inc, Japan 2013-19. Currently starting a consulting company, Biostorming. Contribution to feed industry associations all along this period as member/board member/chairman, at SYNPA, France ; FEFANA, EU ; Sindiraçoes, Brazil, American Feed Industry Federation (AFIA), USA ; International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) currently chairman since 2017 with notable partnership with FAO.
