Olivier Bobin graduated with a MSc (1996) in Chemistry and a PhD (2001) in Physics of Archaeomaterials from the University of Bordeaux, France. In 2005, he founded, with Richard Cheret, CIRAM laboratory. He is currently CEO and scientific director. CIRAM is a private laboratory focused on scientific analysis and dating of ancient materials, and especially on radiocarbon dating. He analyzes more than 1.500 artefacts a year: organic, mineral and metallic materials. For several years, we distorted the Radiocarbon dating aim to the analyze, test and authentication of the biobased materials.
