Description
Holder of an engineering degree and a doctorate in organic chemistry, Caroline Petigny completed her initial training with a Master's degree in Sustainable Development.
She began her career as a scientist at the University of Nottingham (UK) and then in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry in France and Switzerland.
She joined BASF Group in 2007 to take charge of scientific relations for the France.
In 2013, she took over sustainability for BASF in France. For 7 years, her role was to implement a vision and a CSR action plan aligned with the global policy of the BASF group while adapting it to French specificities. Her responsibilities also included scientific public affairs, with a focus on nanotechnology and bioeconomy. In parallel, Caroline Pétigny chaired the CSR group of France Chimie and was a member of the board of the Association Chimie Du Végétal and a member of the College of Sustainable Development Directors.
In 2020, she joined AFYREN as Chief Sustainability Officer. her mission is to support the company in its development by building a structured CSR vision in line with the company's DNA and history.
