• Master in Economics (1989) + Master in human resources management (2017) • In public affairs since 1991, first for the European Sugar Manufacturers Confederation (CEFS), then for the farmers unions (COPA-COGECA). As of 1997, after 6 months of a national (in France) public affairs experience for the landowners and as Director of a trade magazine, went back to Brussels to take the lead of policy affairs in the European Landowners’ Organisation (ELO), before taking successively several Director functions (Forest Director, Research Director, Social Affairs Director, Innovation and Bioeconomy Director) in the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI). In 2020, joined Cefic to create and develop the sector group for biomass-derived chemicals (BioChem Europe) and coordinate Cefic action on the bioeconomy (Biobased chemicals cluster, Bioeconomy Issue Team). • Held different positions as advisor to the FAO, member of the International Council of Forest and Paper Associations (ICFPA), member of the Board of Directors of the Forest sector Technology Platform (FTP), etc.
