PIVERT SAS

Parc technologique des rives de l'Oise

Departure by bus from Lille Grand Palais at 7:00 / Departure by bus from Pivert SAS at 11:00.

  • Company description:
PIVERT is a French SME specialised in the development and the scaling-up of processes. Our goal is to optimize the chances of success in the transfer from the proof of concept obtained in the laboratory to industrialization. We offer the possibility for our clients to convert their innovative projects into industrial processes by optimisation of the technical steps and the reduction of operating costs. Hence, we are positioned as an accelerator of industrialisation to reduce the time-to-market of biobased products. Our specificity relies on our high level and equal competences in technical fields: biotechnology, chemistry, and process development.
We provide the possibility to work from laboratory scale to industrial preproduction, both in fermentation and chemical processes. To illustrate our capabilities, we produce from the gram to the ton scale. Moreover, we can carry out nearly all the transformation steps from the pre-treatment of raw material to the final purification of the product of interest.
One other typical example is our integrated approach to perform fermentation followed by down-stream processes including chemical extraction with green solvents and purification. Processes can be developed either in batch, fedbatch or continuous way to optimise productivity.
Next to our services offer to develop green processes, we offer the opportunity to young companies to be hosted in our 10,000 square meters technical hall.
We also benefit from a strong networking and created the Alliance with IMPROVE and ITERG to provide a unique service to customers by pooling the skills and technological platforms of our 3 organisations.

LESAFFRE

Lesaffre Campus

Departure by bus from Lille Grand Palais at 9:00 / Departure by bus from Lesaffre at 11:30.

  • Company description:
A key global player in fermentation for more than a century, Lesaffre, with a €2.7 billion turnover, and established on all continents, counts 11,000 employees and 96 nationalities. On the strength of this experience and diversity, we work with customers, partners, and researchers to find ever more relevant answers to the needs of food, health, naturalness and respect for our environment. Thus, every day, we explore and reveal the infinite potential of microorganisms. To nourish 9 billion people, in a healthy way, in 2050 by making the most of our planet’s resources is a major and unprecedented issue.
